Our little Ford did amazing in surgery today...we could see an instant improvement, from his blood pressure to his dependency on oxygen. Doctors have told us that he did very well, but we still have to be watchful in the days to come because he could get sick before he takes steps forward. Of course we're praying and hopeful that he will stay stable and slowly be weened off all of his lung and heart support. We are extremely grateful to you all for your support and prayers. As for little Hayden, we are scheduled to have his PDA ligated on Monday, by the same team of surgeons who ligated Ford's this morning. (what an amazing team they are). Dana and I would also like to mention how amazing all of the nursing staff, doctors and other NICU staffers have been to us and our precious boys. Cook Children's Hospital has made this emotional experience, manageable and continue to give us great hope for these miracles. Speaking of miracles, we are off to tuck them in for the evening....and to tell them about all of the support they have, from all of you East Texans and other friends scattered around this great world. We continue to ask for prayers, well wishes, success stories and shoulders to lean on until the boys are able to wave goodbye to the NICU!!

We are so thrilled to hear that Ford's surgery went so well and we hope and pray that Hayden's is just as successful. We know a little bit about tiny babies and the NICU and the emotional drain it is for the both of you. Hang in there and before long you will have a chatterbox 18 month old - times two! We are so happy to hear Ford's surgery went great! We will continue to pray for Ford's speedy recovery and Hayden's surgery on Monday. I know Hayden's will go wonderfully as well!

We are so happy to hear the surgery went well and will pray for another success on Monday. The boys have a very proud uncle in Tyler who continues to keep Kyle and I updated on you all. We can't wait until you can bring the boys up to the office and show them off. We're thinking and praying for you daily.

I have been thinking of the whole family. Put your trust in our God and things will work out. We miss seeing you in the mornings but I know before we know it we will be seeing your smiling face back on air. Your boys will be in my prayers until they come home, and then some. Wonderful to read your blog this morning and read that Ford did wonderfully in his surgery. Truly an answer to many prayers. Today we hold Hayden up and pray for the same great news. Hold on tight to the small but mighty steps forward you all experience each day as God works a miracle in your boys. Prayers are prayed for each of you each day. God Bless

YEAH!!!! I am so glad to read that it all went well. I wish you guys were still with us at MCA so we could see you and the boys but I guess reading this will have to do for now!
