Ford's Surgery & an update on Hayden...

Just wanted to send out a quick posting....letting all know that Ford will be undergoing Heart Surgery at 1:00 pm tomorrow (1/24/08). This is rescheduled from last week due to the infection he had to overcome. This surgery will close his PDA passageway which will help him take the steps forward that we have been praying for. We are aware that this is surgery, and anything can happen....but we believe that this will be the best for Ford in the long run. Even though recovery from this type of surgery takes time...Dana and I know that Mr. Ford will make a speedy recovery. As for his tough little brother Hayden....he has had a rough last few days. Hayden has decided to retain all of his fluid, so he now looks like a handsome Sumo Wrestler. He has had to rely on more oxygen to get through the days...but we know that he is turning the corner and will be slowly making progress. We continue to lean on all of you...and ask that you say a little prayer for Ford's surgery and Hayden's oxygenation issues tonight and until we are fortunate enough to take them home with us. Thank you again from the bottom of our heart for all the great stories we continue to receive from all of you. I will let you know how the surgery went as soon as I can.

Thank you,
Trey, Dana, Ford & Hayden

Praying for Ford and Hayden as well as you and Dana.
Lord I lift up Ford and Hayden to you. I ask you to strengthen them, I ask for perfect development of their preciuos bodies. Lord we know that they are your workmanship, created in your image! I ask for your sovereign hand to be guiding the doctors as Ford has surgery and I pray that he responds well and recovers quickly! I pray for Hayden that he will become less dependent on the oxygen as you strengthen his body and his lungs. Lord, I pray for your peace and comfort for all the people who love these baby boys, Lord carry them even when they do not think they can take anything else! Show yourself in mighty ways to all people near these boys.

Dear Lord,

Please place your hands on Ford and Hayden today. Please help the doctors heal Ford's little heart and watch over him as you bring him to full recovery. Please wrap your arms around Hayden and help his little lungs and kidneys function properly. Thank you for your grace, for the many blessing you give us each and every day and for our little miracle babies.

Please also watch over Trey and Dana and provide them comfort, warmth, and peace of mind through the faith they have in you.

Amen

I love you, Bubs, Dana, Ford and Hayden!

I want you to know that I am praying right now that Ford's surgery goes perfect. God's hands will guide the surgeon's. He is holding each of the boys in his strong and capable arms. We miss you on GMET. I watch every morning and it's just not the same without you there, Dana. Love and Prayers.

The Hughey Family, As you approach this day of surgery for Mr. Ford know that you have so many prayers being sent up for you all. I know this will be a difficult time for the both of you to see your child go into surgery but God will be in there with him. God will be guiding the surgeons hands to help Mr. Ford. God is the driver of this journey we are only along for the ride. May God be with both of you during this tough time and everyone in East Texas is praying for the 4 of you. May you find peace tonight in order to get some rest. God is in control!! May he be with Mr. Ford tomorrow during the surgery and Mr. Hayden. God Bless you all!

Dana and Trey,
I am praying for your two precious little boys...for God to hold them so closely they will feel His heart beat, causing theirs to beat in rhythm...for the rest and healing He provides.

I am praying for their doctors...for God to give them clarity of thought and wisdom in planning every detail of their care.

I am praying for the nurses...for God to give them extra gentle touches, soft soothing voices and His attentiveness.

I am praying for the two of you...for God to give you wisdom in your decisions...rest for your minds and bodies...His peace that passes all understanding.

You are both amazingly strong faithed individuals.Keep us posted as we travel this journey with you.

I remember many happy times with her at All Saints. The whole Hughey family is being lifted up in prayer continually by people you don't even know and probably will never know. There is a huge network of people praying for you. Remeber that and also know we all love you. Keep us posted. Love Lynda
